RSNA: Virtual Radiologic showcases teleradiology solution

Virtual Radiologic (Booth 7513) is showcasing an enhanced teleradiology offering at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in Chicago this month.

The Minneapolis-based company said its vRad Enterprise Connect allows radiologists to service multiple facilities from a single location and use a single system to access patient information across disparate RIS/PACS products. The system helps load balance study volume among radiologists based on geography, time of day, subspecialty and practice preference, according to Virtual Radiologic.
