NextGen deploys EHR/PM to N.Y. provider

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, has executed an agreement with Prime Care Physicians to deploy NextGen EHR and NextGen Practice Management (PM).

Prime Care Physicians, an Albany, N.Y.-based multi-specialty provider, will implement the integrated platform across its enterprise, which consists of 104 practices that serve a geographic area from Kingston to Glens Falls, N.Y., NextGen said. Implementation is expected to be completed in 2010.

NextGen's EHR technology provides formatted documentation and NextGen PM allows healthcare organizations with multiple locations to centralize appointment scheduling, billing, collections and other business processes, the Horsham, Pa.-based NextGen said.
