Siemens lands ultrasound installs at U.K. facility

Stirling Royal Infirmary, part of the National Health Service Forth Valley trust in Stirling, England, has installed four Acuson S2000s ultrasound systems from Siemens Healthcare.

Two of the ultrasounds have been coupled with Siemens’ Syngo Auto OB application and installed in the hospitals’ maternity department, where it is being utilized for obstetric examinations. The other two systems are being utilized within the main radiology department to perform various studies, including abdominal, gynecology, vascular and various specialist musculoskeletal exams, said the company.
