ONC offers $30.3M for 2 more Beacon Communities

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has announced an additional $30.3 million to fund two additional Beacon Community cooperative agreement awards this week.

The Beacon Community Cooperative Agreement Program provides funding to build and strengthen their health IT infrastructure and exchange capabilities. ONC has already funded 15 beacon communities this month.

A letter of intent for the new Beacon Community opportunity is due June 9 with an application due June 26.
