Motorola introduces wireless imagers for healthcare

Communications provider Motorola has introduced two new data capturing technologies , the DS6878 cordless imager series and the DS6707-HC healthcare-specific handheld imager.

According to the Schaumburg, Ill., company, the DS6878 cordless imager series will allow for the capture and transfer of images, documents and signatures, and the DS6707-HC will automate data capture at the point of care for medical administrations, specimen collection, patient admission and dietary management.
