SNM: Philips unveils new PET/CT scanner in North America

Royal Philips Electronics has introduced a new Gemini LXL PET/CT scanner available in North America at this year’s SNM annual meeting in Salt Lake City.

The new Gemini LXL PET/CT scanner offers select features that supports PET applications in oncology and cardiac imaging and features crystal and detector technology and system sensitivity for clinical procedures and image processing, according to the company. It also features 4D PET/CT imaging capabilities, which manages patient motion, added Philips.
