Toshiba taps Hasegawa to head ultrasound unit

Diagnostic imaging system provider Toshiba America Medical Systems has named Tomo Hasegawa as the new director of its ultrasound unit.

Most recently serving as the director of strategic marketing for SonoSite, Hasegawa will work with the global business unit at Toshiba Medical Systems in Japan to communicate the needs and requirements of the U.S. market, as well as implement marketing plans, said the Tustin, Calif.-based company.
