UPenn selects ThinAirs TeleRIS
The department of community radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) has selected ThinAir Data’s TeleRIS to provide its unified worklist.
In addition to enabling single sign-on to all systems, the new system allows radiologists to assign studies based on workload and reading preferences, to launch systems and tools for each case, and to distribute interpretive reports to the appropriate systems and personnel, according to the Los Angeles-based company.
Phase I of the project will provide a unified worklist to a number of the remote UPenn hospitals and imaging sites, ThinAir noted. Phase II will roll in outside reading contracts to UPenn’s department of community radiology.
