Heart Imaging Technologies upgrades PACS offering

Medical image management provider Heart Imaging Technologies has released an updated version of its cardiovascular PACS system offering, Webpax Version 7.

The new version will facilitate the consolidation of multiple PACS into a single system and offer access from EMR systems to medical images stored on PACS, as well as provide physicians with a web 2.0 feature set, allowing for interaction with medical images in a client-free web browser, stated the Durham, N.C.-based company.
