Barco to launch new display offering

Visualization company Barco will launch its new 24-inch wide-screen clinical display monitor, the MDRC-2124, at the JFR Meeting in Paris.

The 1920 x 1200 widescreen resolution of the display provides more screen space for images and applications and is equipped with professional medical-grade LCD technology and several interfaces, including VGA, DVI and DisplayPort, the Kortrijk, Belgium-based company said.

Similar to the company’s other clinical display offerings, the monitor can be used in radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, cardiology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, emergency room or intensive care settings, as well as outpatient clinics and private or dental practices, Barco added.
