Healthy Heart Project selects OmniMD for EMR

OmniMD, a developer of internet-based enterprise healthcare tools, has been selected as an EMR vendor to participate in the Healthy Heart Project in New York State.

OmniMD’s integrated EMRs and practice management products and services provide real-time alerts for drug-drug, drug-allergy and other interactions based on a patient’s medical record, according to OmniMD, of Tarrytown, N.Y.

The suite of applications will help connect multiple systems, services and business processes for the project, the company added.
