Spectral Instruments introduces molecular imager

Spectral Instruments Imaging has introduced a new molecular imager, AMI 1000, which combines imaging hardware and delivers quantitative analytical methodologies.

The new bioluminescent, fluorescent and x-ray modalities are now available to the laboratory researcher for both in vitro and in vivo imaging in one bench top instrument, said Spectral Instruments.

Image layering combines optical and x-ray images for the highest quality data presentation and analysis, added the Tucson, Ariz.-based company. The instrumentation includes -90°C air-cooled cameras, custom optics and LED-based illumination and calibration standards.
