Outpatient Imaging Affiliates scoops up 7 imaging centers

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates has acquired seven outpatient imaging centers in Tennessee, Alabama and Colorado from Diagnostic Health.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based owner and operator of outpatient imaging centers indicated that the vision for the centers “includes their use as a platform for future joint venture or expansion opportunities in their respective markets.”

The purchase follows a mobile PET/CT expansion, recent acquisitions in Philadelphia and Virginia as part of joint ventures with Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Virginia Health System and the opening of a new center in North Carolina.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
