Ohio radiology group selects NovaRad RIS/PACS

Radiology Associates of Canton has installed NovaRad’s NovaPRO RIS/PACS for the receipt of images, reading, dictation and reporting for the nine hospitals, medical offices and clinics it serves.

The Canton, Ohio-based radiology group has streamlined its processes with the system as image retrieval is provided without storage or maintainence of image files. Received images are scrubbed from the archive when the storage limit, pre-determined by the interpreting physician, is reached, according to the American Fork, Utah-based provider of PACS, RIS, orthopedic, cardiology and mammography systems.
