Visus' PACS completes European IHE initiative

More than 75 companies and institutions from across Europe were given proof of the viability of the IHE integration profiles of their systems in 2,200 tests in this year's Connectathon initiative of the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) in Pisa, Italy.

Image management company Visus completed more than 300 tests of the IHE Connectathon successfully. The company tested four systems: a diagnostic workstation, mammography workstation and two PACS servers. Tests covered five domains including radiology, cardiology and IT infrastructure.
