Norton purchases care management software

Norton Healthcare has purchased Morrisey Associates' Morrisey Concurrent Care Manager (MCCM) application for its five hospitals and 125 medical facilities in Louisville, Ky., and southern Indiana.

The web-based software assists healthcare organizations in providing quality care and patient safety by automating care management processes, Louisville-based Norton stated.

MCCM automates case/utilization management, document review, discharge planning, social work, audits, denials and appeals management, quality/peer review, risk management and infection control, the company added.
