BioClinica creates, fills new leadership position

BioClinica, a producer of products and services used in clinical trials of drugs and medical devices, has hired Andrzej (Andy) Dzik-Jurasz, MD, PhD, as its first senior medical director for medical affairs.

Dzik-Jurasz, an interventional radiologist, has published studies in more than 40 journals, according to a release announcing the appointment. He has also held numerous industry positions, the most recent being executive director of oncology translational imaging with Novartis.
