FDA greenlights Eizo's monitor with medical display system

Eizo Nanao Technologies has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its RadiForce LS560W monitor with LMM56800 medical display system for use in interventional radiology and surgical suites.

The system utilizes a 56-inch widescreen monitor with a 3840 x 2160 native resolution and monitor manager that allows users to shape and arrange windows as necessary. Eizo reports high reliability by implementing redundant component architecture—two power supplies, two backlights and two transmission links—in the LS560. The monitor features a resolution equivalent to that of four full HD monitors, according to the company.
