Two practices deploy athenahealth's cloud-based services

athenahealth has expanded its relationship with two current physician practices customers by employing athenaClinicals, its cloud-based EHR service and athenaCommunicator, its patient cycle management service.

Both Alexian Brothers Health System, a Chicago-area Catholic healthcare organization operating through the Alexian Brothers Medical Group (ABMG), and Harbin Clinic, a physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group in Georgia, will use the two new products. The practices both had already been using athenaCollector, athenahealth's cloud-based medical billing and practice management service.

ABMG also will utilize athenaCollector to help manage patient interactions initiated by practice staff or triggered by automated routines within athenaNet, athenahealth’s cloud-based platform.
