Central Illinois Radiological Associates installs Visage 7

Visage Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus, has been selected by Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) to begin installation of the Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform.

CIRA is a radiology group comprising 72 radiologists serving more than 16 different hospitals throughout Illinois, providing interpretations across 22 locations and utilizing numerous different vendors for PACS and RIS systems. Visage 7’s thin-client enterprise imaging viewer will be fully integrated with the CIRA unified worklist to facilitate interpretation across all customer sites, according to San Diego-based Visage.

Utilizing Visage’s streaming technology, Visage 7 does not require that patient imaging data be moved from the hospital data center to the radiologist client workstation, which speeds interpretation, said Visage.
