eRad adds critical tests results management to its portfolio

eRad, a subsidiary of outpatient imaging provider RadNet, has added Radar, a critical test results management (CTRM) platform that provides physicians with tools to communicate, confirm and document all critical and abnormal test results, to its portfolio.

The closed-loop communication protocol meets best-practice policies for better communication documented by The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies, such as the American College of Radiology, according to eRad.

Radar provides one-click critical message communication that can be integrated into voice recognition, RIS or PACS software.

The technology will be integrated into eRad’s systems and offered as a stand-alone product that can be integrated into third-party systems.
