TomTec & Medipattern partner to deliver CAD

Medipattern and TomTec Imaging Systems have signed an agreement to integrate Medipattern’s B-CAD computer-aided detection (CAD) system into TomTec’s Image-Arena Platform Suite.

TomTec, which develops 2D, 3D and 4D medical ultrasound products and is based in Unterschleissheim, Germany, will now offer Medipattern’s B-CAD breast ultrasound program integrated into TomTec’s Image-Arena Suite. Medipattern, which develops software for imaging lesions and other physiology and is headquartered in Toronto, said the companies will release the joint system at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna March 3 to March 7.
