ECR: Agfa launches entry-level CR suite

Agfa HealthCare introduced a family of entry-level computed radiography (CR) systems at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna March 3 to March 7.

The CR systems--CR 30-X, CR 30-x and CR 30-Xm--cover general radiography and mammography imaging and feature Agfa’s Musica2 image processing. CR 30-X is a high-volume desktop digitizer, supporting various general radiography applications including full leg/full spine while CR 30-x offers a low-volume desktop digitizer supporting the same range of radiology exams. CR 30-Xm, a high-volume desktop digitizer, can be used for both mammography and general radiology. The CR 30-X and CR 30-x offer image quality with 100 micrometer resolution, while the CR 30-Xm, for mammography, offers images with 50 micrometer pixel definition, stated the Mortsel, Belgium-based company.
