Analogic unveils trio of ultrasound systems

Analogic has launched three BK Medical ultrasound systems: Pro Focus UltraView 800, Flex Focus 800 and the Flex Focus 500.

The systems incorporate Quantum technology, which offers image quality enhancements including contrast resolution, as well as gray scale maps and image pre-sets, according to Boston-based Analogic.

Quantum technology features a Vector Flow Imaging (VFI) mode, enabling angle independent visualization of blood flow. The technology also includes a color Doppler mode.

The UltraView 800 and Flex Focus 800 systems are suited for surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery, general imaging and urology imaging. The UltraView 800 system also has contrast imaging capabilities for cardiac applications. The Flex Focus 500 is designed for urology and general imaging needs.
