Sectra, Volpara ink agreement

Sectra has signed an agreement with Matakina International to distribute Volpara Breast Density Software integrated with Sectra Breast Imaging PACS.

The agreement may provide Sectra customers with a way to standardize breast density assessment into their clinical workflow.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS is a web-based, multi-modality workstation featuring diagnostic tools, including integrated CAD and reporting, that offers a single-system reading environment for mammographers. Digital breast images, including breast tomosynthesis, regardless of modality vendor, are displayed in the same size with orientation and alignment to allow comparison of current and prior images, according to Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra.
