ACC webinar to cover coding basics

An upcoming American College of Cardiology (ACC) webinar, hosted by the ACC’s Cardiovascular Administrator Work Group, will cover the coding essentials that cardiovascular professionals need to thrive.

Geared toward cardiologists earlier in their career and cardiovascular professionals who desire a coding refresher, this webinar will provide an overview of coding basics integral for succeeding in cardiology.

Two experts from the ACC and MedAxiom will cover a variety of topics such as evaluation and management (E/M) visits, selection of E/M levels and documentation requirements and ’95 and ’97 guidelines. Other vital cardiovascular business issues, including basic documentation, modifiers and other resources and references available for tackling the Physician Fee Schedule, will be presented as well.
