Varian Medical Systems has filed a lawsuit against Elekta in a U.S. state court in Texas.

Varian claims that Elekta employees improperly gained access to Varian trade secret information. In the lawsuit Varian alleged that two former Varian sales representatives, recently hired by Elekta, inappropriately took information and shared alleged trade secret information with a few Elekta employees in the late spring. Elekta intends to defend itself against the allegations made by Varian, according to a release issued by Varian.
