Belgium hospital selects Agfa PACS

Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) will implement Agfa HealthCare’s Impax for Cardiology, Impax for Radiology and Impax Enterprise.

Belgium-based ZOL uses Agfa HealthCare's Impax RIS and hospital-wide Orbis systems.

Impax will integrate Agfa HealthCare's Impax for Cardiology, Impax for Radiology and Impax Enterprise systems, creating an interdisciplinary platform that facilitates information sharing and balances the specific needs of the cardiology and radiology workflows with the benefits of a fully integrated healthcare enterprise, according to the Greenville, S.C.-based provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT technology.

The implementation is expected to begin in May 2011, Agfa stated.
