RSNA: Sectra to highlight RIS, EHR upgrades

Sectra (Booth 9117) is showcasing new developments in radiology IT systems, including updates to the Sectra RIS, as well as developments in women’s health at the 97th Annual Meeting & Scientific Assembly of the RSNA, Nov. 27 to Dec. 2 in Chicago.

Among the updates and enhancements being debuted by Sectra are:
  • Embedded speech recognition within the Sectra PACS;
  • An EHR Module providing clinical decision support tools as part of the computerized physician order entry system within the Sectra web-based RIS;
  • A patient portal within the EHR Module that provides e-mail result notification to patients; and
  • Sectra OneScreen, an online system to identify patients in the risk group for osteoporosis using a single, standard x-ray image of a woman’s hand to determine bone health.

Sectra also is launching Sectra UserInfluence, a web forum allowing customers to comment on products currently in development.
