Patient portal myth-busting

Will patient access to a portal improve satisfaction? Will older patients use the portal? How about portal security?

These are all questions faced by providers as patient portals gather steam. In an effort to bust some myths related to the use of portals, Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream commissioned a market consultancy firm to survey patients about portal usage.
