ACC taps Solomon as CMO of business development

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has appointed Henry A. Solomon, MD, to its executive team where he will serve as chief medical officer (CMO) of business development.

A certified cardiologist and a fellow of the American College of Physician Executives and ACC, Solomon’s new role will oversee industry relations matters, according to the college.

Prior to accepting this position, Solomon served as medical director at Pfizer and managed his own private cardiology practice in New York City for 20 years. Solomon will continue to serve as clinical associate professor of medicine at the Cornell University Medical College.
