Accelware acquires Joachims as new VP

Steven Joachims has joined Acceleware, a developer of high-performance computing (HPC) applications, as VP of business development.

According to the Calgary, Alberta-based Accelware, Joachims will be responsible for advancing strategic alliances and key partnerships, furthering commercialization of the Acceleware product family and augmenting channel partnerships.

Joachims has 20 years of experience in the HPC business, working for both Convex Computer Corporation and Hewlett-Packard, said Accelware.
