Parascript, a healthcare software developer, has announced that its AccuDetect 7.0 computer-aided detection (CAD) system for mammography has been approved by the FDA.
The approval covers use of AccuDetect 7.0 for use with mammography systems from GE, Philips, Hologic, Fujifilm, Carestream, IMS and Planmed. AccuDetect has previously been CE marked and is also compatible with DR and CR mammography systems from Agfa, Siemens and Allengers Medical Systems, according to Parascript.
