ACR names new appointment

The American College of Radiology (ACR) appointed Cindy Moran as its assistant executive director for government relations. Moran will come on board at ACR on Oct. 1 after serving as senior director for federal government affairs at Pharmacia Corp. Her career includes nine years as director of federal affairs for the American Academy of Ophthalmology before joining Pharmacia in 1995. The ACR membership consists of more than 32,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists and medical physicists.
