Siemens upgrades Soarian hospital information system

Siemens Healthcare has released its Soarian MedSuite version 4.0.200, which is currently available in English and Turkish.

The company said it has already launched the version in Turkey, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia and plans to expand into other international markets.

The Soarian MedSuite is a hospital information system that can arm hospitals and caregivers with integrated tools to manage administrative, clinical and financial processes. Some options with the new version are: registration, admissions, discharge and transfer; revenue cycle (patient billing); enterprise, multi-resource scheduling; and clinical management, including computerized physician order entry and an EMR.
