Alert Notification joins Verizon Medical Data Exchange

Alert Notification has joined the Verizon Medical Data Exchange to share digital health information between physicians and healthcare organizations.

Alert will use Verizon Medical Data Exchange in conjunction with its emergency notification and medical records access service. The service provides members with personalized emergency notification through its Alert Notification service and timely access to EMRs with Alert Medicall, the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based company stated.

With Alert MediLife, customers can manage prescriptions, track health measures, store medical images, view personalized risk assessments, and in the event of an emergency, allow emergency personnel access to their vital medical records, the company added.
