American Radiologist Network acquires ViewTec medical division

Radiological services provider American Radiologist Network (AMRADNET) has acquired the medical business of Zurich, Switzerland-based advanced visualization developer ViewTec along with its core product and technology, MedView.

The MedView software is a DICOM image viewing and advanced image processing application that features image streaming and on-demand interactive 3D volume rendering capabilities.

AMRADNET is a Boca Raton, Fla.-based provider of radiological, cardio-care, and health information services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, and home-health agencies in 11 states, including Texas, Ohio, Colorado, Arizona and seven states in the Southeast.
