ATMP debuts HIPAA compliance service

ATMP Solutions has launched services to help large health systems and physician practices assess security risks and manage compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) Act.

The Belleville, Mich.-based company will guide physicians, clinics and health systems in meeting HIPAA standards and implementing management practices. The HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment analyzes an organization's compliance status, including EMR management and software. ATMP Solutions conducts a gap analysis and assists in developing a remediation plan that leads to compliance.

In addition, ATMP said its partnership with cloud-based IT services provider eGestalt enables clients to implement an automated compliance management system called SecureGRC, whcih enables governance, risk management and compliance.
