Canon USA taps Nakamura as new VP, GM of imaging group

Canon USA has appointed Tamotsu Nakamura as executive vice president and general manager of Canon USA’s Imaging Systems Group.

Nakamura succeeds Ryoichi Bamba, who transferred from Canon USA to become president and CEO of Canon Europe, the Lake Success, N.Y.-based company said.

The company said that Nakamura comes from Canon Canada, where he was president and CEO since 2001.  Prior to Canon Canada, Nakamura was president of Canon Mexicana S. de R.L., de C.V.
