Del taps Flies to head universal product group

Del Global Technologies of Franklin Park, Ill., has selected Joseph Flies, vice president of operations for its Del Medical Systems unit, to lead its newly formed universal product group. Flies will take on the new position as well as continue his duties with Del Medical, according to the company.

The appointment, which was effective at the beginning of this month, has Flies heading all sales support and product marketing for Del Medical Systems’ Universal product offerings. Tom Boon, vice president of global sales and marketing, will continue to lead Del Medical Systems’ global sales and marketing organization, the company said.
