eClinicalHealth to Host 1st Clinical Trials Innovation Summit - a Collaborative, Global, Cross-industry Event to Accelerate Clinical Trial Innovation

eClinicalHealth Limited, a technology and consulting company dedicated to the provision of innovative clinical trial solutions, is hosting a unique summit in the clinical trials industry - an open ecosystem that will bring together leading innovators and key industry experts to catalyze and accelerate innovation within clinical trials by identifying practical initiatives rather than theoretical solutions.

eClinicalHealth's inaugural event is also sponsored by Langland (the world's most creatively awarded healthcare advertising agency) and Mendor (an expert in the development of innovative diabetes management products) and will focus on three key topics: "Virtual Clinical Trial Models", "Electronic Health Records and Clinical Research" and "Patient Engagement". Within these sessions, a broad range of topics will be discussed from the humanization of remote clinical trials to data mining for better studies - content collaboratively designed with the help of participating companies. Targeted workshops will also be conducted with the aim of identifying current issues, exploring how these could be addressed and defining rapidly actionable follow-up initiatives.

"We believe that working together in open and collaborative manner is the best way to operationalize new methods and technologies," says Douglas Bain, eClinicalHealth's CEO and Co-founder. "Change management in such a complex industry isn't trivial. That's why bringing together different stakeholders to get any initiatives off the ground will be vital."

As well as attendees from many of the top biopharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Bayer, Janssen, Shire and Roche, the invite-only event will bring together many leading technology and service providers, too.

"We're excited to have such great participation and are looking forward to sharing some of the output with the general public as well," adds Douglas. "We encourage anyone interested in these topics to contact us so that we can work together to help make these innovative new methods operational reality."
