Eclipsys appoints executive vice president and CAO

Eclipsys Corp. has appointed John Adams as executive vice president and chief administrative officer (CAO) to oversee all administrative functions, including legal, corporate development, human resources, facilities, finance and investor relations.
   
Prior to joining Eclipsys, Adams was CFO of Exult Inc., an innovator in human-resources-led business process outsourcing for global 500 corporations. Before that, Adams was vice president and CFO of AT&T's Business Services division, where he oversaw all financial matters for this division. He also spent more than 15 years at EDS, where he held numerous senior management positions including vice president and controller.
