Edge EHR signs letter of intent to acquire Goal Eyecare Software

Edge EHR has signed a letter of intent to acquire Goal Eyecare Software of Green Bay, Wis.

The acquisition of Goal is strategic to Edge, adding more than 700 doctors to its current client base and accelerating its growth with a new addition to its portfolio of software applications, the EHR software company said.

EdgeEHR currently offers practice management and EHR software applications for the one- to 25-doctor ambulatory space, according to the company. In addition, Edge delivers practice management applications such as EdgeDMS for dental professionals and EdgeMD across a variety of medical specialties, the Seattle-based company stated.
