Aurora Imaging Technology named a new member to its advisory board, Da Hsuan Feng, PhD, special assistant to the president for Global Strategies and International Relations and Professor of Physics at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Prior to his appointment to UTD, Feng was for three years vice president of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a Fortune 500 defense-related high tech corporation. Feng also spent 22 year as the M. Russell Wehr distinguished chair professor of physics of Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Sage Software Healthcare has named Mike Cardone as senior vice president of sales. Cardone will assume immediate leadership responsibilities for all sales groups within Sage Software Healthcare. Cardone’s most recent position was vice president and general manager-North America with Whatman. Previously, Cardone was vice president with Fischer Scientific, International. In addition, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at BOC Gases. At Baxter Healthcare, Inc., Cardone was promoted to vice president after working his way through the ranks for 13 years as a sales representative, district manager, region manager, and director of national accounts.
