Founder Nields resigns from Fischer Imaging
Morgan W. Nields stepped down as chief technology officer (CTO) and board member of Fischer Imaging Corp., effective Dec. 31, 2003.
Nields, who founded Fischer Imaging, currently is working on development and funding for Senolase Inc., an early-stage technology company focused on a less-invasive approach to breast tumor treatment. The Senolase system utilizes stereotactic technology, pioneered by Fischer Imaging, for precise image guidance of laser therapy and ablation directly to the area of concern within the breast.
Fischer Imaging Chairperson Gail Schoettler called Nields "a visionary in the field of women's healthcare."
