GBA partners with Wellogic

GBA HealthNetwork Systems has integrated its practice management software with an EHR system from Wellogic, a Cambridge, Mass.-based clinical software provider. The companies announced the partnership this week at the Medical Group Management Association Conference in Philadelphia.

Colin Barry, president and CEO of the Warwick, R.I.-based GBA, said the company will distribute the combined applications to the group practice market.

South Shore Urology, an eight-physician practice in South Weymouth, Mass., is the beta site for the integrated software, which uses the application service provider computing model. The practice had been using GBA’s software and has added Wellogic’s EHR.
