GE names new GM for Americas IIS sales & marketing

GE Healthcare today announced that Deb Knapp has been appointed to the position of general manager, Americas IIS sales & marketing. Knapp will be responsible for leading all sales, marketing & commercial efforts for the Americas PACS business, effective in July, the company said.

In her most recent role, Knapp led the U.S. sales, marketing & operations teams for the Services, Supplies & Alternate markets teams in the GE Healthcare Clinical Systems business. In that position, Knapp built a service, sales and marketing team and established an entire operational infrastructure for the businesses, while rebuilding and remarketing all of the GE Healthcare IT service products. Additionally, Knapp integrated the supplies business for Instrumentarium to build a supplies business for GE Healthcare IT, and led the sales & marketing efforts of the unit's products to the physician office & home healthcare markets. Knapp joined GE in 1987.
