HIMSS: Carestream to unveil new clinical data archive

Carestream Health (Booth #6751) will showcase its new Carestream Clinical Data Archive with a consolidated data storage and management solution for various data types, regardless of vendor, at HIMSS10 in Atlanta during the first week of March.

This enterprisewide storage platform delivers a multi-tier XDS repository for DICOM data and non-DICOM objects. It also supports tag morphing, which references an internal library of PACS-specific tag addresses and attributes so that the archive can modify a DICOM header when transmitting DICOM image data acquired on one vendor’s PACS for access by remote users throughout the enterprise.
