IDS releases two radiology-related smartphone apps

Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has launched two smartphone applications designed to allow medical staff and administrators to perform time-sensitive tasks using iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile devices.

Mobile AbbaDox is a workflow and sign-off application that allows radiologists to review and electronically sign reports, listen to voice dictation and scroll through workflow bins. Mobile CRM is a business analytics and referral management tool that gives sales and marketing teams live reporting data on physician ordering patterns, a radiology organization’s ability to turnaround reports, as well as detailed notes about previous interactions with providers.
