iMDsoft, Medical Web Technologies partner for pre-op tool

iMDsoft, a provider of clinical information systems for preoperative, critical and general care, and Medical Web Technologies (MWT), a provider of web-based medical information software, have partnered to jointly offer their technologies.

iMDsoft will now offer MWT’s One Medical Passport online pre-op workflow tool as part of its MetaVision anesthesia information management system software for the perioperative environment.

The MetaVision software supports perioperative workflow, from pre-op through intra-op and recovery and generates an anesthesia record while featuring decision support and analysis tools that promote patient safety, the Needham, Mass.-based iMDsoft stated.

One Medical Passport complements iMDsoft's technology by offering an online option that allows patients to complete their own medical history through the internet. The information is immediately available to nurses, anesthesiologists and registration staff, as well as the patient’s surgeon, the company added.
